Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Zanzibar to Central Serengeti

Upon your arrival at Seronera Airstrip, our driver will be eagerly awaiting to kickstart your daily adventure in the renowned Serengeti National Park, also known as “The Endless Plain.” This iconic park is famed for its abundant wildlife, particularly the majestic “Big Five”: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo.

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti is home to an impressive population of around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, which join the wildebeests on their annual trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the captivating symphony of over 6 million hooves pounding the open plains of Serengeti, truly immersing yourself in the essence of African wildlife.

After an exhilarating day of safari adventures, we’ll drive you to your accommodation for a leisurely evening and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 02: Serengeti National Park full day

After a satisfying breakfast, get ready for an exciting full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. In addition to the majestic large mammals, Serengeti boasts a fascinating array of wildlife. Keep an eye out for the colorful agama lizards and the agile rock hyraxes scurrying around the park’s granite kopjes. You may also spot various species of dung beetles and marvel at the diverse birdlife, with over 500 recorded species ranging from the impressive ostrich to the elegant black eagles soaring above the Lobo Hills.

As the day unfolds, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes and thrilling wildlife encounters that Serengeti has to offer. After an exhilarating day of exploration, we’ll drive back to the camp for an evening of relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 03: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on a journey to the majestic Ngorongoro Crater. Descending 600 meters into this natural wonder, we’ll enjoy a full-day game drive in one of the world’s most densely populated African wildlife areas. With an estimated 30,000 animals calling it home, including Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos, the Ngorongoro Crater promises unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Benefitting from a year-round water supply and abundant fodder, the crater supports a diverse array of animals, from herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo to eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, adds to the allure of this picturesque national park.

Optional Maasai Boma Visit: For a cultural experience, we offer a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas. Here, you’ll witness traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even have the opportunity for souvenir shopping at the local market. Please note that additional costs apply for these activities.

After a day filled with adventure and cultural immersion, we’ll retire to our accommodations for a delicious dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 04: Tarangire National Park to Arusha Aiport

After exploring Ngorongoro Crater, our journey continues to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. This park is famous for its ancient Baobab trees and boasts the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country. It offers a unique opportunity to witness the fascinating interactions within elephant families.

During our game drive through Tarangire, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for wildlife sightings, focusing on areas where predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are known to frequent. Additionally, we’ll have ample opportunities to spot herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras as we traverse through the park’s diverse terrain.

After an exhilarating day of wildlife exploration, we’ll bid farewell to Tarangire National Park and head back to Arusha Airport for our flight to Zanzibar, concluding our unforgettable safari adventure.
